What's the Microplay Online Service?

Microplay Online is a multiplayer First Person Shooter online service for broadband subscribers. Players play online against eachother or in teams in PC gaming's most exciting games. You must own a copy of one of the games that we host (see list here). You will be able to join ongoing games or start your own and speak and listen to other players with Teamspeak.

If you do not have any of the games we host, try Enemy Territory that you can download from our servers, it's free and quite a challenge. Have a good game!

* Only Videotron High-Speed subscribers can take advantage of the two week free trial period. All other visitors benefit from a 7 day free trial period. A credit card is required to activate your account.

To contribute to a memorable Halloween, dear Enemy Territory fan, we will hold a special game on the 31st of October at 9 P.M. on server 70.80.35.24 We will host the Resurrection map by RtCW's famous mapper RivrStyx.

This map is both mysterious and scary. The sounds and Axis skins create a Night of the Living Dead atmosphere. The Allies must destroy the main gates of an Axis inhabited mansion. They must take hold of the Book of Resurrection and escape to the caves by using a small boat on the Styx river, seperating good and evil.

Our game will be available on ETTV on server 70.80.35.23 starting at 8:30 P.M. So rent a giant screen, invite a few friends and throw an event that they will remember for quite a while because it will be out of the ordinary as it always is when Axis meet Allies on the Resurrection map...

Password will be given on Teamspeak one hour previous to game and will be posted inthe forum under the topic 'Special Halloween'.

Dear Allies, The free world requires one more intervention from you. Show up Friday at 8 P.M. to fight for frreedom in Frostbite and should you make it, you will have to survive a Doctor Mac1 map selection special. Only the bravest of them all will go the distance. In one week from now we will activate the paying service to maintain the high level of service you have grown accustomed too. The service has evolved dramatically in the past three months and it will keep changing to suit your needs and respond to your expectations. Soon, we will ask some of you to referee or administrate some servers on a volontary basis. Only gamers can best decide what configurations provide the most entertainment. Here are some pictures of the ATI Revolution 2005 LAN party that took place from June 3-5 in Longueuil. This LAN party was organized by the LQJR and featured tournaments in several games. Microplay Online was the proud sponsor of the Counter-Strike tournament which was won by clan Nameless.

We have some great news for you this morning. First off, we now have a Battlefield 2 server for the demo that came out a few days ago. This server is on 70.80.35.23 and will be up until the game is available in store (June 22nd), at which point we'll switch it over to a real server.

That's a pretty good news, but we've got more. Over the last few days, we've completly changed all 20 game servers. They all have new configs, and we now also have a Battlefield Vietnam server. Head over to this page to check out all the details.

Coming up next later today will be a Day of Defeat server since we've had a few requests for this one. It will replace one of the CS 1.6 server.

We told you we would have some good news for you this week and we are happy to finally be able to announce the first two. First, we have decided to leave the service free for everyone until the end of July. All accounts have been adjusted already, so feel free to log on the servers and play. If you have paid for your access, the usage periode will adjusted accordingly.

One of the biggest challenge for us has been to get a critical mass of players on the servers at all times. In order to achieve that, we've decided to open up the doors to our servers for all Videotron High-Speed internet subscribers. For the next 2 months, if you are using a Vidéotron cable-modem, you'll simply see the game servers for your favorite games all the time, even if you haven't visited the site. As such, every players will now see the servers and you will see a lot more of them around here.
